Paint correction
Fine scratches and swirls that show in the sun, polished out of the clear coat by machine. A 1-step polish takes out most light marks. A 2-step cuts deeper first, then refines the finish.
1 to 2 daysOne day for a 1-step polish, up to two for a 2-step.

Ceramic coating
A hard, clear layer bonded to the paint. Water beads on it and runs off, and dirt lets go at the next wash. It goes on after correction, because it seals in whatever is underneath.
1 dayTwo days when the paint needs correcting first.

Paint protection film
Clear urethane film over the panels that take the hits from the road. It stops most chips from grit and small stones. We wrap the edges wherever the panel allows, so they sit tight and don't lift.

- Full frontBumper, mirrors, the whole hood and both front fenders1 to 2 days
- Full bodyEvery painted panel3 to 5 days

Cloudy, yellowed lenses sanded back and polished clear, then sealed. Haze inside a lens is a parts job, and the inspection tells you which you have.

A smell ends when its source leaves the car, so we find the source first, most often in the seat foam or under the carpet. Stains and pet hair are part of the same job.

Get a free paint inspection
About 30 minutes at your car. You keep the report.
Before we price anything, we look at the paint where the car lives, in your garage or driveway. We bring the lights and the gauge, and the inspection is free.
What we look at
Every panel under a low, bright LED light that shows the swirls a garage bulb hides. We measure the paint on each panel, so we know how much there is to polish, and mark chips and old repairs on the map.
What you keep
The report, filled in at your car, with a fixed price for the work you choose. It is yours whether or not you book.

Why we polish before we coat.
A coating or a film locks in whatever is on the paint the day it goes on.
Clean
A wash leaves iron dust and tar stuck to the paint. We lift them with an iron remover and clay, so the polisher never drags them across the surface.
Correct
Then we polish out the swirls and light scratches the inspection found. A coating can't do this part for you.
Protect
The coating or the film goes on last, over clean, corrected paint. Film is what stops chips. A coating makes the paint easier to keep clean.
Cars here take sun most days of the year. A car parked on the street picks up sprinkler spots overnight and sap from street trees in spring, and both bake into the clear coat if they sit.

The work happens in your garage.
We work in a garage or a covered space out of direct sun, and you don't need to be home while we work.

What we need from you
- A garage or covered space out of direct sun, with room to walk around the car.
- The car parked there when we arrive.
- A way into the garage while we work.
How you hear from us
Your paint report is updated at the end of each working day, with the panels we finished and photos under the inspection light.
What you're handed
Your report, updated with the after reading on every panel we worked, and a care sheet with the wash rules and their dates.
After coating or film: keep the car dry and under cover for 24 hours, and don't wash it for 7 days.
What the report can flag before we start.
These come up at most inspections. Each one goes on the panel it affects, on the first visit, before you have paid for anything.
Deep scratches
The depth reading tells us how much clear coat a panel can spare. A scratch that runs deeper than that will soften with polishing and stay visible, and the report marks it on that panel.
Chips that are already there
Film stops most new chips and can't repair old ones, so we mark each chip on your report before any film goes on.
What a coating doesn't stop
A coating makes paint easier to wash and slows fine marks. It won't stop a stone chip. Film does that.
Failing clear coat
Clear coat that has gone cloudy or started peeling after years of sun needs repainting. We tell you before you pay for any other work on that panel.
If our work shows a fault, we come back and fix it.
Coating
If a patch of coating dries uneven or streaks within 30 days, we come back and correct it free.
Film
If film we installed lifts or bubbles at an edge, we fix it free for as long as you own the car.

What people ask before the inspection.
Anything else, call us. Phones are open Monday through Saturday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Call (310) 857-2520What if I decide not to go ahead after the inspection?
You keep the report and owe nothing. The inspection is free whether or not you book the work.
Does a new car need paint correction?
Often a little. New paint picks up marks in transport and at the dealer's wash before delivery. If yours is clean, the report says so, and we coat or film it as it is.
How long does a ceramic coating last on a car parked outside?
It depends on the coating and on how the car lives. Full sun and brush car washes wear any coating faster than a garage and a hand wash. The expected years for the coating we recommend go on your report.
Can I wash the car myself afterward?
Yes, once the first week is over. Use a pH-neutral car soap and a soft mitt, and skip car washes with brushes. Your care sheet has the dates.
Who needs to be there for the inspection?
Whoever decides on the work. We walk around the car together under the light and agree what goes on the report. Once the work starts, nobody has to be home, as long as we can get into the garage.
Can the price on my report go up once you start?
No. The price on your report is the price. If the work turns up something the inspection couldn't see, it goes on the report as a separate line with its own price, and it is done only if you approve it.
